Fused Glass
Fused Glass
Fused glass is a different (but just as magical) side of what I create in stained glass.
Instead of joining pieces together with solder like traditional stained glass, fused glass is created by layering pieces of glass and melting them together in a kiln. The glass is heated to high temperatures until it softens and fuses into one solid piece.
It’s a great way to create smaller, meaningful pieces that people can gift, collect, or just keep somewhere that catches the light.
Every firing is a bit of a surprise. Colors blend, edges soften, and textures shift in ways that make each piece truly one of a kind.
